Role Summary:

We are looking for a NetSuite Functional Expert with a strong finance and accounting background, capable of delivering leadership-level reporting, audit & SOX compliance reports, and advanced financial solutions in NetSuite.

This role is highly business-facing and requires close interaction with CFOs, finance leadership, auditors, and compliance teams. The candidate should be confident in translating business and audit requirements into accurate, actionable NetSuite reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Executive Reporting (Mandatory)
   • Design and deliver executive-ready reports and dashboards for:
     • CFOs
     • Finance Controllers
     • Senior Management / Leadership teams
   • Prepare and maintain:
     • P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
     • Variance, trend, and performance analysis
     • Revenue, margin, and cost analytics
     • Monthly, quarterly, and board-level MIS
   • Ensure reports are:
     • Accurate and audit-aligned
     • Easy to interpret for leadership
     • Action-oriented for decision making
2. Audit, SOX & Compliance Reporting
   • Prepare SOX-compliant and audit-ready reports directly from NetSuite
   • Support internal and external audits by providing:
     • Transaction audit trails
     • Approval and control evidence
     • User access and role-based control reports
   • Work closely with audit and compliance teams to:
     • Address audit queries
     • Provide supporting documentation
     • Ensure reporting traceability and controls
3. NetSuite Reporting & Analytics Expertise
   • Design and develop:
     • Advanced Saved Searches
     • SuiteAnalytics datasets and workbooks
     • Role-based dashboards and KPIs
   • Translate business, leadership, and audit requirements into relevant NetSuite reports
   • Ensure reporting consistency across:
     • Subsidiaries
     • Locations
     • Currencies
4. Advanced Financials & Core Modules
   • Hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Financials, including:
     • Multi-subsidiary and multi-currency accounting
     • Intercompany transactions and eliminations
     • Period close and consolidation processes
   • Strong expertise in:
     • Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
     • Revenue recognition and deferred revenue
     • Amortization and prepaid expenses
     • Fixed assets and depreciation
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
   • Act as a trusted reporting and finance advisor to:
     • CFOs
     • Finance leadership
     • Auditors and compliance teams
   • Gather requirements and convert them into NetSuite solutions
   • Clearly explain reports, numbers, and trends to non-technical stakeholders
   • Support UAT, post-go-live reporting, and continuous improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6–10+ years of hands-on NetSuite functional experience
• Strong expertise in:
  • Leadership / executive reporting (mandatory)
  • Audit & SOX compliance reporting
  • Financial and management reporting
  • Saved Searches and SuiteAnalytics
• Strong accounting and finance domain knowledge
• Experience working directly with senior leadership and auditors

Education & Background (Preferred):

• Finance or accounting background preferred:
  • CA / CPA / CMA
  • MBA (Finance)
  • M.Com / B.Com or equivalent
• Candidates with a strong finance background combined with NetSuite functional expertise are highly preferred

Good to Have:

• Experience in SOX-regulated or audit-intensive environments
• Exposure to global NetSuite implementations
• NetSuite certifications (Financial User / Administrator)
